Pride of Place GOLD Award

We are so proud of our school garden and delighted to receive a Gold Award in the  Pride of Place School Gardening Scheme!

Well done to all involved for their hard work developing the garden throughout the year.

'It is incredible all the work done in the school in one year. I love your new rain garden and delighted to see it in place. The rest of your garden is amazing and the new polytunnel will hopefully increase your crops even further. It is great to see your tomatoes and peas doing so well and the children’s excitement over it is obvious.

Your rewilding area is doing great and again brings such benefits for biodiversity.

I was particularly interested to see your projects on improving air pollution and water quality. It is great to get involved in these science-based projects at this age. They will have such a depth of understanding and appreciation for their environment going forward.
