Dunboyne Senior Primary was established in September 1996, following the reorganisation of the girls’ and boys’ schools in the village and the formation of the Junior and Senior co-educational schools.  The Senior School caters for pupils from third to sixth class.  There are currently 18 mainstream classes – five grouping at third, four at fourth and fifth level and five at sixth level.
