Dunboyne Senior Primary was established in September 1996, following the reorganisation of the girls’ and boys’ schools in the village and the formation of the Junior and Senior co-educational schools.  The Senior School caters for pupils from third to sixth class.  There are currently 20 mainstream classes – four grouping at third, five at fourth and sixth level and six at fifth level.
