Dunboyne Senior Primary School was delighted to have the opportunity to take part in the Dunboyne St Patrick's Day Festival. Members of our Drama Club and 5th class students proudly represented the school in the parade. They sang beautifully and handed out leaflets to advertise their upcoming musical. Our Drama Club is made up of 70 students from 5th and 6th class. They rehearse every Thursday after school and are currently busy getting ready for their musical called ‘Wickedly Oz’. Performances will take place on the 11th and 12th of June.

We were also delighted to have the opportunity to showcase some of our award winning Green Schools work. Two of our projects, Our Biodiversity Story and Our Air Quality Project, were on display in the Old School as part of the Dunboyne St Patrick's Day Festival. Last year we were named Green Schools Biodiversity Primary School of the year and we also won the Schools Award in the National Tidy Towns Competition so we were delighted to have this opportunity to share our work with the wider school community.

A huge thank you to all of the Dunboyne St Patrick's Day Festival committee members for organising such an enjoyable and special day for the community of Dunboyne.
