Beekeepers

Thank you so much to local beekeepers Thomas and Ray who came to visit us today. They spoke to 3rd and 4th class children about the different types of bees, maintaining bee colonies and the importance of looking after these little creatures. Thomas and Ray brought in a hive and showed the children the different parts of the hive and children got to try on a Beekeepers suit. The children also got to taste the honey created by the bees.
